General Summary: The Hospitality & Culinary Arts Program at Middlesex Community College is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative individual to serve as the Culinary Lab Technician on the Lowell Campus. This position offers a unique opportunity to support the educational mission of the culinary program by managing and maintaining the kitchen and lab spaces while ensuring a safe, clean, and well-equipped environment for students and faculty. The Technician will assist culinary faculty with lab setup and supply coordination while supporting day-to-day kitchen operations aligned with health and safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience in the culinary arts or restaurant field
Current ServSafe Food Handler Certification
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse college community
Hourly Rate: $20.75 in accordance with Middlesex Community College's Part-Time Wage Schedule
Location: Lowell campus with occasional travel to Bedford as needed
Hours: 18.5 per week, schedule to be determined upon hire
Expected Start Date: September/October 2025
