Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, architects, and technical leads.
• Partner with product management, QA, DevOps, and other business units to ensure seamless delivery.
• Define technical strategy, architectural standards, and best practices for .NET-based applications.
• Drive modernization efforts, including migrating legacy systems to modern .NET frameworks and cloud platforms.

Technical Direction & Architecture
• Provide hands-on architectural guidance, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Review and approve solution designs, code quality, and architectural decisions.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into the engineering roadmap.
• Oversee API design, microservices architecture, and integration strategies.

Delivery & Execution
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
• Establish and track engineering KPIs such as velocity, defect rates, and system uptime.
• Champion Agile and DevOps practices to accelerate delivery cycles.
• Manage technical debt and ensure long-term platform stability.



Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in software development with C# and .NET frameworks (.NET 6+, .NET Core, ASP.NET).
  • 5+ years in engineering leadership roles managing teams of 10+ engineers.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level architectures.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), microservices, and API-first design.
  • Expertise in relational databases, ORM tools, and performance tuning.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps tooling.

Preferred

  • Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular).
  • Background in healthcare, financial services, or other regulated industries.
  • Certifications in Azure Solutions Architecture or .NET development.
