Position Title: Sr. Reporting Analyst

Location: Remote - United States

Department: Client Services/Customer Success

Employment Type: Full Time

Reporting To: Amy McCarrell

Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 / year

Sr. Reporting Analyst


The Senior Reporting Analyst is responsible for data consolidation, data analytics and data management. The individual is also responsible for the generation of metrics, development of actionable recommendations and support to client, management and business through the collection and analysis of data, creation of reports and result communication.


Key Responsibilities


Essential Functions:
  • Utilize advanced SQL scripting to create reporting and analytics
  • Perform advanced Excel techniques
  • Utilize advanced analytical and problem solving skills to deliver reporting to internal and external clients
  • Build strong relationships with Client(s) and internal partners
  • Manage multiple projects and client facing initiatives in various stages of the project life cycle
  • Build Data Warehousing and Data Mining solutions
  • Work with clients on report enhancements/questions that translate stakeholder requirements into reporting deliverables
  • Evaluate data to make business recommendations based on analysis of the data
  • Track down reporting issues
  • Utilize delivery technologies and data access, including metadata, data organization, data quality assessment and data profiling

Job Qualifications


Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of proven data analytics experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to effectively work with data received in a multitude of formats from many sources (client data, Group O data)
  • Effective use of reporting and analytics to tell a story in a concise and easily consumable manner
  • Reporting and analytics skills including query writing for business intelligence and relational databases
  • Knowledge of multiple business intelligence platforms including SQL, Power BI, and Tableau
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Previous reporting/analytics skills
  • Ability to write SQL queries
  • Organizational, documentation and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner. Problem solving skills and ability to work well individually and within a team.
  • Customer-service, problem-solving, listening, communication, decision-making, critical-thinking skills
Preferred Experience:
  • Ability to query a relational database or other query experience/aptitude
  • Experience managing complex operations and processes
  • Previous Business Intelligence experience
  • Power BI and/or Tableau experience with writing scripts, queries and reports
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (Microsoft Navision), Web Portals & Warehouse Management Systems
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Previous Telecom or Retail Industry experience
