This program is designed to give you hands-on experience working directly in the field with experienced survey crews, using cutting-edge tools and technology to tackle real-world challenges.

What You'll Do:

As an apprentice, you’ll spend your days outdoors, assisting with land surveys for construction, engineering, and mapping projects. You'll:

• Set up and operate total stations
• Collect field data including angles, distances, and elevations
• Interpret construction plans and take accurate field notes
• Perform boundary and topographic surveys
• Sketch field drawings and help prepare data for drafting
• Learn best practices for job site safety and crew coordination

You’ll work side-by-side with experienced survey technicians and party chiefs, gaining valuable on-the-job knowledge every step of the way. Our projects take place across a wide variety of terrain - this is an active, physical, outdoor role with lots of opportunity to explore.
