JOB TITLE: Quality & Compliance Officer

POSITION NUMBER: 1208- R3946 -QCO

POSITION LOCATION: Remote and onsite

ANTICIPATED START DATE: 2-6 weeks after contract award

TRAVEL: Required up to 20% as needed


ASRT, Inc. provides scientific, information management, management consulting, bioinformatics, and administrative program support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other State, Federal, and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be a full-time employee of ASRT, Inc. and will be assigned to the Fairfax County Health Department. The Quality & Compliance Officer is expected to and the client site with some remote opportunities and travel to Health Department Facilities as needed.


SCOPE OF WORK

The Quality & Compliance Officer ensures all contract activities and assigned personnel comply with applicable laws, policies, and contractual standards, including HIPAA and County Standards of Conduct.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and oversee compliance monitoring systems.
  • Conduct internal audits of staff files, credentials, and security clearances.
  • Maintain HIPAA training records and occupational health compliance.
  • Respond to County requests for compliance documentation.
  • Advise PM on risk mitigation and corrective action plans.
Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Compliance, or related field; Master's preferred.

Credentials: Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar.


Experience: Minimum 7 years of compliance and quality assurance experience in healthcare/public health


Clearance: Ability to pass Fairfax County criminal background check and Virginia/FBI National Criminal History Background Check.


REQUIREMENT: Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident or have authorization for employment in the United States.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
