Plateau is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Infrastructure Manager to lead and manage our IT operations at our Fairfax, VA office. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud services (particularly Microsoft Azure), vendor management, and IT asset lifecycle management.

This position will require onsite support at our office in Fairfax, VA.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring optimal performance of systems, networks, and services.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft Azure services.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead vendor management activities, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and relationship development.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
• Provide the leadership team with periodic budgeting and forecasting reports on software, infrastructure and cloud costs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support business objectives through technology.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and data protection regulations.
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and disaster recovery strategies.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to IT support staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a similar role.
• Proven expertise in managing Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, and IT security.
• Experience with IT asset management tools and practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if required (this requires US Citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, ITIL, CompTIA Network+/Security+).
• Experience in government contracting or regulated industries.
