Location: Virginia Beach, VA (Bayside)

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: Mon – Fri 7:00AM - 3:45PM (OT may be needed)

How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success:

The Labeling Inspection Technician performs labeling and cross-check process for final products. You will also prepare tissue and documentation for transport to include irradiation runs as applicable and assist in the in-process documentation of tissue to include receipt, quarantine, and final disposition. This position requires a high level of teamwork and commitment. Attention to detail and adherence to defined processes and procedures is mandatory.

What you'll do:

  • Prints and applies labels for final products.
  • Performs cross check and reconciliation of final product and labels.
  • Documents all required information accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Prepares labeled tissue and documentation for transport to include irradiation as applicable.
  • Maintains working knowledge of specific product types to include graft types, sizes, and potential defects (both product and packaging).
  • Stocks and rotates inventory of supplies.
  • Assists processing rooms as needed by providing circulating support.

What you'll bring (Minimum Requirements):


  • High school Diploma or GED; Associate Degree in Health Care or related field preferred
  • 1 year work experience

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

  • Associate Degree in Healthcare or related field

  • Proficient in MS Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Suite.

Salary: $15.30- $20.40hourly

* The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate's qualifications and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $15.30hourly (entry-level qualifications) to $20.40 hourly (experienced in this role).

* Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate's knowledge and relevant experience.

This position is eligible for an annual bonus once eligibility criteria are met.
