JOB TITLE: Deputy Project Manager

POSITION NUMBER: 1208- R3946 -DPM

POSITION LOCATION: Onsite

ANTICIPATED START DATE: 2-6 weeks after contract award

TRAVEL: Required up to 20% as needed


ASRT, Inc. provides scientific, information management, management consulting, bioinformatics, and administrative program support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other State, Federal, and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be a full-time employee of ASRT, Inc. and will be assigned to the Fairfax County Health Department. The Deputy Project Manager is expected to work at the client's site with travel to various Health Department Facilities as needed.


SCOPE OF WORK

The Deputy Project Manager supports the Project Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensures continuity of management in the Project Manager's absence. This role focuses on operational execution, staffing coordination, and task order administration.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day-to-day candidate sourcing, screening, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate schedules, staffing assignments, and task order requirements.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance for all assigned staff.
  • Maintain updated staffing rosters and credential records.
  • Assist in preparing deliverables, reports, and performance metrics.
Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Business, or related discipline;


Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in program or operations management, with at least 3 years in healthcare or public health staffing.
  • Proven record managing multiple task contracts for federal, state, or local government.

Preferred:

Master's degree in a related field.


Clearance:

Ability to pass Fairfax County criminal background check and Virginia/FBI National Criminal History Background Check.


REQUIREMENT: Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident or have authorization for employment in the United States.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
