Overview

What We’re Looking For
As a Level 2 System Engineer at CyberPoint, you will apply systems engineering principles across the entire system life cycle. You'll collaborate with government stakeholders, program personnel and senior executives to ensure the technical integrity, quality and completeness of deliverables. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy analyzing technical alternatives, developing solutions and contributing to high-quality systems engineering work products across multiple process areas.

What You'll Do

  • Perform systems engineering activities across ISO/IEC 15288 Technical, Project, Enterprise and Agreement Process Areas.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of work products in Technical Process Areas, including:
    • Stakeholder Requirements Definition
    • Requirements Analysis
    • Architectural Design
    • Implementation, Integration, Verification and Validation
    • Operation, Maintenance and Disposal
  • Assist in Project Process Areas, such as:
    • Project Planning, Assessment and Control
    • Decision and Risk Management
    • Configuration and Information Management
    • Measurement and Quality Management
    • Support Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Areas, including:
      • Project Portfolio Management
      • Infrastructure Management
      • Lifecycle Model Management
      • Human Resource and Quality Management
      • Support Agreement Process Areas related to Acquisition and Supply.
      • Analyze technical alternatives for projects and make preliminary recommendations.
      • Develop and deliver work products across multiple process areas.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system requirements and solutions meet mission objectives.This position is 100% onsite and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance.

        Qualifications

        What You’ll Need

        • U.S. Citizenship
        • Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph
        • Bachelor's Degree in a qualified engineering or related field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, Engineering Management or related disciplines such as Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or Physics). Equivalent work experience may be considered.
        • 4+ years of systems engineering experience.
        • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 15288 systems engineering processes and best practices.
        • Strong analytical skills to evaluate technical alternatives and support decision making.
        • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, program personnel and senior leadership.
        • Experience delivering technical documentation and work products across multiple process areas.
