A postdoctoral appointment is available with Bilec’s Built Environment and Sustainable Engineering Lab at the University of Pittsburgh in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation.

Seeking a highly motivated and organized person for a unique opportunity with expertise in the areas of life cycle assessment, the built environment, and sustainable healthcare.

The initial appointment will be for one year with the possibility of an extension. The start date is flexible, with a preference for candidates ready to begin as soon as possible. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. The successful applicant will possess a PhD in civil and environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or related fields, have an excellent academic record, and work well in a collaborative research environment. The candidate should have completed the Ph.D. prior to the date of joining.
