Department Overview
This position is under the supervision of the VP of Clinical Operations at the Cascade Life Alliance (CLA). The duties of this position are in support of the mission and goals of CLA including comprehensive supervision and leadership of the Referral Response Coordinator (RRC) department to maximize donation and transplant rate via timely assessment and evaluation of potential organ donors, collaborative approach to authorization, and implementation of best practice in donor management, organ allocation, and recovery processes. Additionally, the Clinical Resource Manager (CRM) takes administrative call as needed to provide 24-hour coverage coordinating all aspects of the donation process across the Donation Service Area (DSA).

The Clinical Resource Manager works collaboratively with other departments to identify and advance initiatives in support of overall organizational strategic goals and values, including staff training and professional development, quality improvement, and performance management.
Function/Duties of PositionProvides comprehensive training and management of Referral Response Coordinator (RRC) department, including all referral response and team support activities. Partners with leadership from Hospital Development, Family Support, Quality, and Clinical departments to ensure effective interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize donation outcomes throughout the DSA. Collaborates with Medical Directors and physician consults as needed, and assists staff in working through numerous and/or operational and administrative challenges.
Provides extensive integration of front line OPO staff to include consistent messaging and excellent service to our 84 hospital partners throughout the CMS assigned three state Donation Service Area (DSA).
Performs 24-hour on call functions as needed based on department staffing needs.
Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Competencies):
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and take call as needed for 24 hour periods. May travel by ground transportation or charter and commercial aircraft in support of donation activities or other professional events.
