The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is recruiting a non-tenure stream Professor who would serve as co-investigator on a funded study that focuses on improving health outcomes for American Indian females at risk for diabetes.

Duties would include: Ensuring the research protocol is scientifically sound; overseeing all research activities and tasks; reviewing and interpreting research data and outcomes; disseminating of research findings (e.g., manuscripts, abstracts); Mentoring faculty

Minimum Qualifications:

Professor – A) An earned doctorate in nursing or a field related to the area of scholarship within the School of Nursing is required. B) Evidence of a sustained and impactful program of scholarship that is nationally recognized. C) Evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring, and contributing to a learning environment that values inclusivity. D) Evidence of or potential for leadership in the field.

Desired Qualifications: Experience with topics related to theory-based intervention studies to enhance cognitive/psychosocial factors that impact health behavior outcomes in children and adolescents with diabetes.
