Overview
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Food Processing Technology Center. Provide strategic leadership and tactical direction to ensure the FPTC remains a world class facility. Ensure the assets and resources are effectively deployed to deliver maximum return on overall investment. Responsible for the development, application, and documentation of food processing techniques and/or technology as it pertains to the various testing activities. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including customers, R&D, marketing, and applications, to bring new processes from concept to market. Coordinate with Sales personnel and Customers on matters of product testing, results expected, and details of final report.

Work Environment:
Primarily clean laboratory or office conditions, occasionally loud equipment noise and high moisture levels. Exposed to possible hazards including heavy equipment, slippery footing, cold/hot temperatures, etc. Spend approximately 50% of the time in an office or meeting environment, 40% of time working in the FPTC test area, and 10% travel to customers, suppliers, and other JBT-Marel locations.
Physical Demands:
Frequent sitting and operating computer. Some lifting of materials, ingredients and substrates and moving of equipment. May be required to lift product for testing and demonstrations of equipment that weigh 50 lbs.
