Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable Technical Services Sales Manager to join our team.

As our Technical Services Sales Manager, you will sell our technical services product line, including: maintenance, repair, support, and consumables to customers in the food processing industry.

On a given day, you may:

  • Identify and target potential customers in the food processing industry.
  • Promote and sell our technical services and products, including maintenance, repair, calibration, support and consumables.
  • Expert knowledge in process controls including; PLC's, Embedded Controllers and Electronic Measuring device
  • Understanding of food processing equipment for shelf-stable and extended shelf life products.
  • Develop relationships with our customers.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored technical service solutions.
  • Collaborate with our teams to ensure effective delivery of services.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential customers.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management.

Requirements for the role

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience with food processing equipment
  • Minimum of 7 years of technical experience working with industrial equipment used in food processing or similar industry
  • Ability to negotiate, create presentations, and close sales deals with customers.
  • You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Travel & Location

  • Travel of up to 50% to customer sites and industry events.
  • COMPENSATION RANGE: The salary range for this role is between $115,000 to $125,000 annually. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.This job description is a general description of essential job functions.
