What's the role?
The Head of Manufacturing & Sustaining Engineering for the Chesterfield site is responsible for:
-Developing, and implementing the manufacturing strategy and strategic operational goals at the Chesterfield sites, optimizing production levels and driving operational efficiency and productivity.
-Responsible for setting and achieving annual cost down plans and initiatives
-Managing manufacturing engineering resources to ensuring technical support for all manufacturing activities, striving for best-in-class products and business practices to deliver to the customer's expectations.
-Managing teams and projects across the business providing clear leadership and vision to drive Key Performance Indicators across all areas of the Manufacturing and sustaining engineering function so that all projects and new product introductions are delivered at or below cost and on time to the highest quality standards.
-Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental issues are prioritized and facilitated.
