Description

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled and strategic P-Card Program Leader to oversee and enhance our organization’s Purchase Card (P-Card) program. This leadership role is essential in providing end-to-end governance and strategic direction for the program, ensuring alignment with corporate procurement and financial objectives. The P-Card Program Leader will lead a team of 3 analysts and be responsible for policy development, risk management, program performance, and compliance, while driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Oversight & Leadership: Provide overall leadership and governance for the P-Card program, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices. Lead a team of three analysts, offering guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Strategic Direction: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to optimize P-Card program performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization, automation, and process improvement.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Oversee the identification and mitigation of risks related to P-Card usage, including fraud prevention, policy compliance, and audit readiness. Ensure that the program adheres to all internal and external regulatory standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Internal Audit, IT, and Procurement to strengthen program controls, improve audit readiness, and foster continuous program improvements.
  • Reporting & Insights: Serve as the primary point of contact for executive leadership, preparing and delivering regular reports, insights, and strategic recommendations to guide decision-making at the highest levels.
  • Policy Development & Continuous Improvement: Drive policy development and continuously refine program policies and procedures to meet evolving business and compliance needs.
  • Supplier Relations: Maintain strong relationships with key financial institutions and P-Card suppliers, identifying opportunities for eCatalogs and other procurement innovations to enhance the program’s efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Promptly address and resolve any issues to ensure smooth program operations and continued success.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in financial operations, procurement, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing a P-Card program.
  • Skills:
    • Proven experience in managing and leading a P-Card program, with strong leadership capabilities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving program optimization.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior executives.
    • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, audit readiness, and compliance requirements.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial management systems and reporting tools.
    • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective controls and continuous program improvement.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00
