Responsibilities

  • Serves as first point of contact regarding Enlyte’s payroll activities related to new hires, terminations, status changes, tax changes, deductions, direct deposits, time sheet data, rate changes, retroactive adjustments and special pays
  • Reviews and verifies timecard entries in the Time and Attendance System (including obtaining 100% approval of timecards from employees and their managers)
  • Maintains vacation, sick leave and worker's compensation records;
  • Interfaces with employees to answer questions and provide assistance and guidance on payroll related issues
  • Prepares tax deposits and reports;
  • Generates and distributes checks
  • Evaluates current processes and makes recommendations for ways to streamline work processes and build efficiencies that allow for scaling of payroll services
  • Compiles reports on base and premium pay
  • Assists compensation staff in data gathering for compensation survey inputs
  • Assists with related special projects


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience with payroll functions
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience with payroll software, Dayforce and/or UltiPro HCM/HRIS highly desirable.
  • Skills: analytical, auditing, report writing, , detail orientation, collaboration, customer service, process improvement, multi-tasking in a high and fast paced environment and adapting to changing work environments.
  • Ability to craft written communications for all organizational levels.
  • Highest level of integrity and ability to keep confidences.
