Overview:
The Business Development Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the growth and expansion of our organization’s presence in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Civilian markets. This position is responsible for conducting market research, analyzing business opportunities, supporting pipeline/proposal development, and assisting in the execution of strategic initiatives to drive revenue and strengthen client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Research and Analysis:
o Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes within the DoD and Federal Civilian sectors.
o Analyze agency acquisition forecasts and opportunity portals to identify potential contracts aligned with company capabilities and contract vehicles.
o Monitor industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies relevant to DoD and Federal Civilian markets.
• Opportunity Identification:
o Support the identification and qualification of new business opportunities, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other government solicitations.
o Maintain and update a pipeline of potential opportunities using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
• Proposal Support:
o Assist in the development of proposals, including drafting, editing, and coordinating inputs from cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with solicitation requirements.
o Assist in the conduct of pricing analysis and support cost proposal development in collaboration with finance and technical teams.
• Strategic Support:
o Collaborate with the Business Development team to develop and implement strategies for capturing new business and retaining existing clients.
o Support the preparation of Gate presentations, capture plans, call plans, briefings; and marketing materials tailored to DoD and Federal Civilian clients.
• Relationship Management:
o Assist in building and maintaining relationships with government stakeholders, prime contractors, and industry partners.
o Coordinate and attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to network and promote the organization’s capabilities.
