Strategic Sourcing Specialist
As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will play a critical role in Group O by developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to optimize our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers that meet our quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Your expertise in market analysis, negotiation, and supplier relationship management will ensure that we achieve our procurement goals while maintaining the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with strong analytical and negotiation skills. They excel in building relationships and managing projects while maintaining lofty standards of quality and sustainability. Effective communication, mindfulness, and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments are essential. They should have a deep understanding of supply chain management, be proficient with sourcing tools, and uphold strong ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Create and implement sourcing strategies that align with Group O goals and drive cost savings, quality improvements, and supply chain efficiency.
- Identify potential suppliers, conduct thorough evaluations, and select suppliers based on criteria such as cost, quality, reliability, and sustainability.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers and manage contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Set up and maintain product pricing and terms including, set up items, suppliers, maintaining contracted supplier costs, and sell process in the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP)
- Create purchasing quotes along with creating sales quotes for new and current customers.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential supply chain disruptions and ensure continuity of supply.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including procurement, operations, quality assurance, and finance, to ensure alignment and successful execution of sourcing strategies.
- Managing regulatory compliance documentation.
