Job Description
The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the EIS Marketing team and collaborate with departments across the organization, including product management, sales, and outside agencies, to deliver efficient, effective marketing initiatives.
This role will lead the logistics and fulfillment of tradeshow assets and promotional items, managing our in-house company store, overseeing inventory, coordinating shipping and returns, and ensuring all materials — such as literature, apparel, customer gifts, and event assets — are produced, stocked, and delivered on time. They will also assist in tradeshow and event planning, coordinating timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and on-site logistics.
In addition, the Marketing Specialist will support content development by gathering, drafting, and editing materials such as articles, case studies, blog posts, email newsletters, social media updates, and product sheets, while helping maintain editorial and campaign calendars. This role also provides general marketing and administrative support, ensuring brand consistency, smooth operations, and timely project execution.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of tradeshow assets, from scoping and purchasing to vendor coordination, inventory management, shipping, and returns to ensure all booth and tradeshow materials are delivered and returned.
- Manage promotional fulfillment for employee apparel, customer gifts, printed literature, and other branded items, including purchasing, vendor coordination and inventory control.
- Manage the in-house company store, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely reorders, and budget adherence.
- Help gather and write content for newsletters, articles, and marketing campaigns.
- Help maintain editorial, social media, and supplier promotions calendars to ensure timely delivery, content alignment, and ROI-focused reporting.
- Support tradeshow and event planning, including coordinating timelines, logistics, registration, payments, booth needs, and promotions, while tracking budgets and managing vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and develop new marketing opportunities.
- Provide general marketing support as needed, including brand strategy and guideline adherence, internal marketing communications, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in marketing, marketing communications or sales operations; or equivalent combination of education/training experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management, planning and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience utilizing marketing tools such as Monday.com, SugarCRM and/or marketing automation platforms preferred
