Position Title: Help Desk Support Specialist
Location: Dahlgren, VA
Relocation Assistance: None available at this time
Remote/Telework: NO – Not available for this position
Clearance Required: Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Work Schedule: Day shift and/or Mid shift
Travel: Up to 10% of the time

Description of Duties:
The Help Desk Support Specialist supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

  • Collect and analyze data to provide technical resolutions
  • Provide remote troubleshooting support for break/fix issues
  • Provide escalation and status updates to MDA customers
  • Provide technical support for enterprise projects that affect Service Desk workflows
  • Resolve daily battle rhythm tasks
  • Track all work using the Remedy ticketing system
  • Utilize the mature knowledge database to assist customers

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Must have 4 or more years of general (full-time) work experience
  • Must have 6 months (or more) of IT experience
  • Must have IT Customer Service experience
  • Must have, or obtain within 90 days of start date, a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+)

Compensation:
Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 annually. Final compensation is based on experience, education, and directly relevant certifications.
