Leidos’ Defense Systems Hypersonics Integration is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama.

Primary Responsibilities
Capable of reading and interpreting mechanical/integration drawings.
Understand the working nature of MRP/ERP systems.
Create a bill of materials based on drawings and specs.
Create and maintain standardized work instructions based on drawing and specification reviews.
Provide floor support for integration, test, and assembly efforts.
Work closely with the design, quality and manufacturing teams.
Basic Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Industrial and Systems Engineering with at least 8 years of applicable experience.
Must be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility requirements to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Military and Aerospace assembly techniques.
