We're hiring an Item Operations & Support Supervisor to join our Souderton based Deposit & Item Operations Team.



Responsibilities

Responsible for the supervision of the Item Operations and Support team including scheduling and coverage of teller support phone queue, email and all operational responsibilities in office and WFH. Some evenings and Saturdays required.

Regular coaching and training of staff including one on ones, performance reviews and staff meetings.

Onboarding of new employees.

Compile statistic and evaluation reports to be distributed to the department manager, performing strategic review of data to submit process, procedure, or staffing changes as required.

Timely processing and oversight of all incoming return items from other financial institutions and the Federal Reserve working with both customers and various internal groups such as Commercial Lending and Consumer Bank.

Oversight of processing of all monetary adjustments to customer accounts and stop payment procedures.

Oversight of exception item screening and working with Risk Management to recover funds for fraudulent items.

Assist with internal and external Audit requests by providing requested samples and related documentation.

Responsible for oversight of all Cash Services for financial centers and commercial customers inclusive of but not limited to:

Commercial customer orders, shipments and posting ensuring prevention of loss.

All related duties for foreign currency and checks.

Balancing the bank’s vaults and offsite ATMs inclusive of offsite ATM deliveries.

Branch cash settlement review and support.

Main contact for cash services vendors from the setup and closing deliveries of financial centers to the review and approval of the vendor invoices.

Oversight of account charge off and reporting procedures, dormant account reporting, Reg CC compliance screening, savings bond redemption verification, uncashed bank check monitoring and escheat, duplicate check screening, fee reversal process, deceased account hold procedures and other related processes.

Maintenance of written procedures including staff training and coaching and yearly procedural audit.

Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.

Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Five years’ experience with Deposit/Item Operations or similar banking experience required.

Excellent verbal, written and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on customer service.

Ability to oversee multiple operational functions and employees performing varying responsibilities.

Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.

Ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.

Deposit product and deposit regulation knowledge essential. Experience with Jack Henry, Synergy or equivalent banking systems, Excel,

Word, Adobe, Outlook and TEAMS preferred.

Have the capability to complete all job duties remotely as required including supervision of staff.

Wage Range:

The salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $61,300
