Overview

IDC is looking for a part-time Legal Intern for the fall semester to join our Legal Team. The successful candidate will be a current law student and will be responsible for, among other things, supporting resolution drafting, assisting with corporate legal project management, and conducting due diligence work. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, and a keen interest in corporate legal matters.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with drafting corporate resolutions under supervision.
  • Support corporate legal project management activities.
  • Conduct due diligence research and document review.
  • Assist with maintaining corporate records and filing systems.
  • Support preparation of board and shareholder meeting materials.
  • Perform other legal research and administrative tasks as assigned.



Qualifications



  • Current enrollment in an accredited law school
  • Availability to work on-site in our Needham office 15 hours/week
  • Strong academic performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Keen interest in corporate law.
