SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Program/Project Manager III.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Description: SEACORP's Production Operations Business Area is seeking a Program Manager. Program Managers are concerned with the overall planning, direction and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives which have great significance to the activities and agency’s needs. Programs are typically large, multi-year efforts divided into several sub-programs/tasks. They are also responsible for the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short- and long-range plans. This includes the responsibility for formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach; and defining and negotiation with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources. Establishment and control of technical milestones, schedules, budgets and costs are also essential tasks for the Program Manager.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical or management discipline is required.
Experience: 5+ years of relevant Program Management experience managing DoD acquisition programs as a prime or sub-contractor (10+ years desired).
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Location: Groton, CT
Travel: Quarterly (approximately 4 times a year)
Clearance: Secret
Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
