Physical Requirements

Shift
Monday – Friday, Day Shift; primarily 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hrs/wk); other hours/schedule as needed.
Job Summary
The Division of Pediatrics is seeking a Nurse Team Leader for the Division of Pediatric Genetics and Metabolism to manage daily clinic flow, provide direct patient care, as well as day-to-day oversight of nursing and clinical staff. In addition, this position will work closely with the division chief and providers to create, maintain, and implement clinical protocols and procedures to ensure continuity of care.
The Nurse Team Lead works closely with the Practice Manager and Nurse Clinical Manager to operationalize ambulatory clinic issues, nursing directives, scheduling templates, protocols, and staffing models.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Basic computer knowledge, MS Windows, Word, Outlook, and clinical applications; supervisory experience, detail-oriented.

BSN with one to two years of experience.
