Job Summary
The Account Executive will develop and implement sales plans for AGS slot products, as agreed to by the Senior VP, Sales and in conjunction with AGS' revenue targets for a specified sales region. He/she may also be integral to sales of other products as required. The Account Executive is expected to continually improve upon relationships with our existing customers and create new opportunities for placement of our world-class gaming products in the casino industry. This person will be a positive, self-starter and be a great ambassador in the gaming community for our growing business. The Account Executive will ensure that we always deliver first-class customer service.
Responsibilities
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan, effectively utilizing the consultative sales process
  • Compile and maintain updated account listings/call sheets of all customers through the use of personal contacts, trade journals, business directories, social media and other available sources of information
  • Build relationships with, solicit business and resolve complaints from prospective and current clients
  • Identify customer needs via sales contact or through casino floor analysis
  • Provide updated forecast reports on a regular basis to management and identify major sales opportunities in a timely manner
  • Responsible for in-depth product knowledge about AGS' products and their application within the marketplace
  • Responsible for professionally demonstrating product selling points to customers, at a user level; identify additional resources that are required for successful presentations
  • Keep management abreast of competitive market trends and any issues that may impede business
  • Represent AGS at trade association meetings to promote the products
  • Negotiate and prepare sales contracts and sales order documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Develop effective working relationships with executives, key management and key decision makers
  • Timely and accurately complete expense reports
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas

Skills and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 1 to 2 years' experience in a gaming industry environment
  • Customer Service – knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
  • Sales and Marketing – knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services
  • The Art of Persuasion – persuading others to change their minds or behavior
  • Public Speaking – comfortable talking to people to convey information effectively and confidently
  • Active Listening – giving full attention to what others are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills and prioritization are essential for success
