About the Role and about You:

The Line Service Technician position will be based in Hawthorne, CA. The incumbent of this role is responsible for providing Aircraft support and maintenance along with facilitating on time transit of customers and their vehicles while keeping safety at the forefront of all actions.

Supervision Received: FBO Operations Manager

What you will do:

  • • Fueling of aircraft
  • • Aviation fuel quality control
  • • Marshalling of aircraft
  • • Towing of aircraft
  • • GSE maintenance checks and fueling
  • • Aircraft cleaning
  • • Moving customer vehicles
  • • Shuttling passengers to their destination
  • • Airport security; looking out for the general well-being of fellow employees and property
  • • Maintaining client reservations
  • • Special event duties as needed
  • • Other Duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

  • • Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
  • • Must have valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
  • • Previous FBO Line Service experience
  • • NATA PLST Certified
  • • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • • Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs. for extended periods of time
  • • Knowledge of building and aircraft maintenance.
  • • High School diploma or GED equivalent


Special Requirements:

  • • May be required to obtain a Secured Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge for certain airports
  • • Will be required to meet all local airport and TSA requirements
  • • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime, as needed
  • • Must be able to pass an FAA Drug and Alcohol testing, background checks and submit to random drug test when required


Physical Demands:

  • Stepping up/down on ladders, tugs, and fuel trucks
  • Bending and squatting to lift equipment, up to 75lbs.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time, running when required
  • Good hand-eye coordination with good peripheral vision
  • Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.

Training Schedule (Initial 90 Days)

Week 1 - 2 (Monday - Friday: 8 am to 4:30 pm)

Week 3 - 12 (Monday - Friday: 5 am to 1:30 pm)


Full-Time Schedule

Friday - 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Saturday - 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Sunday - 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Monday - 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Tuesday - 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
