Applications are invited for the Executive in Residence position at the Villanova School of Business in the Department of Economics. The position is scheduled to begin in December 2025 in preparation for the start of the Spring 2026 semester.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The position includes annual teaching responsibilities of 6 credits (generally two courses for a Student Managed Fund class) at the undergraduate level as assigned by the Chair of the Economics Department. Teaching courses includes leading and engaging a group of student portfolio managers who actively manage a long-only equity portfolio over the course of two semesters.
  • The position also includes oversight of all student fund analysts through participation in a weekly meeting of the larger group.
  • The person in this position will execute trades in a timely manner for the class with the brokerage firm used by the fund. Compliance with all University, local, state, and federal policies and guidelines is essential.
  • This position will serve as a career guide and resource for economics managers interested in internships and permeant positions in the financial services industry.
  • Other related duties as assigned by the Department Chair.

  • Significant private sector experience in business.
