JOB SUMMARY:
The Vice President of FI Channel Sales will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee all sales activities within the Financial Institution Channel Sales organization, ensuring development and implementation of sales pipelines and systems to meet current and future needs of the organization. The Hyosung FI (Channel team focuses on a nationwide ecosystem of partners to sell ATMs, Branch Transformation Solutions, Software and Services to banks and credit unions across the United States. The role of Vice President of FI Channel Sales will report directly to the EVP of Sales. The role requires product depth and industry knowledge to build joint long-term strategy, new scalable business models and joint GTM motions with our partners. Responsible for strategic sales leadership and revenue delivery for the company across the channel. Included in this role is responsibility for directing and managing market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, distribution and channel strategies. This goal is achieved by providing leadership toward the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the company’s vision and values.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Interviews, hires, and trains channel sales management-level staff in the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Create and execute FI channel sales department strategies to meet all requirements while achieving Hyosung’s revenue and profit goals.
- Invest time in learning and evaluating new processes and technologies that will impact the business.
- Creatively create Hyosung’s vibrant, expanding sales future.
- Drive Hyosung to expected success in 2019 and beyond via targeted channels and partners.
- Collaborate closely with peers (Marketing, Operations, and Product) to ensure alignment.
- Routinely update management team on plans, realities and requirements.
- Understand and translate Hyosung’s business strategies to commercial initiatives.
- Meet and exceed revenue targets for the FI Channel
- Understand and communicate market requirements
- Develop partner programs that grow market share for the business segment
- Create price and brand strategies to be executed by partners
- Coordinate all aspects of partner governance, including but not limited to, creating new partnerships and managing partner relationships.
- Ensure forecast accuracy across all aspects of the channel team
- Create operational efficiencies for the channel business

- Establish and execute a robust and aggressive strategic Rep/Dealer expansion plan.
- Establish compensation, training, and sales incentive (rebate) programs.
- Analyze, evaluate and increase the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results.
- Develop quotas, budgets, short term and long-range goals in support of business objectives.
- Develop long term business plans along with CEO and other leaders as designated.
- Lead company sales professionals and external distribution partners (Reps and Dealers) to achieve sales and profit objectives.
- Lead the company’s sales charge with significant, sustained energy and passion.
- Ensure sales team is consistently acting in accordance with Hyosung’s mission and values.
- Oversee all sales functions of Hyosung to ensure high quality sales, service and delivery.
- Assist sales team in delivery of proposals and presentations where necessary to close strategic deals.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, development and counseling as needed to sales team.
- Maintain critical Rep and Dealer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s Rep base nationwide.
- Be a people developer and people leader, developing Hyosung staff
- Be on top of the business by consistently making joint calls and satisfying requirements through Hyosung counterparts (internal and external).
- Strategically select, deselect and nurture key Reps and Dealers.
- Consistently improve sales strategies, processes and tactics.
- Work closely with key senior executives of existing and targeted FI Customers and Dealers.
- Continually learn and experiment to ensure commercial success.
- Collaborate closely with corporate to ensure consistent alignment.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or other industry-related field required; MBA preferred.
- At least 8 years of industry-related experience including five years in upper management required.
