The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology, is seeking a basic/translational scientist addressing fundamental questions in the early development, screening, and detection of ovarian cancer. Successful candidates will take an interdisciplinary approach and excel at research revealing mechanisms and therapeutic targets of early pre-malignant development of ovarian carcinoma, novel big data approaches, and development of early detection/screening tests/algorithms of ovarian cancer.

Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Biology, Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field and complete their postdoctoral training. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Applicants for Research Instructor, non-tenure stream, should have one or more years of experience in related scientific research; demonstrate the ability to contribute to the academic mission primarily by collaboration on research projects and in supportive roles to a Principal Investigator's research group; have relevant teaching experience; and demonstrate the capacity for career development and promotion.
