Required License/Registration/Certification
Registered Nurse (RN) and must advance on UKHC Nursing Professional Advancement (NPA) within 6 months of hire and annual resubmission required throughout employment in this job title.
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting, standing, walking, with some pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs.
Shift
Monday – Friday, Day Shift; primarily 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hrs/wk); other hours/schedule as needed.
Job Summary
The Nurse Team Lead provides disease-specific patient care to a group of patients who have serious acute and/or chronic health events or who are seeking healthcare to maintain their state of wellness.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, skilled assessments, care plan development, care plan implementation, patient education, and clinical evaluation and interventions. This position requires collaboration with medical professionals who operate under time and efficiency constraints in an ambulatory care setting with a patient-centered focus on quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is necessary for success.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Basic computer knowledge, MS Windows, Word, Outlook, clinical applications. Supervisory experience, detail oriented.
