This person will perform simple to complex machining of components to produce miscellaneous parts and equipment using standard methods, procedures and documentation such as routing, work order, verbal and written instructions, prints sketches, charts, tables and other information relative to the work at hand
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years experience on manual machining equipment (lathe, mill, drill)
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Ability to perform required set up process.
Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
Ability to work from detailed prints and drawings as well as verbal instruction
Ability to use shop arithmetic including decimals and fractions.
Ability to use judgment to perform and make decisions as to the sequence of setups, operations, and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures.
Must have basic tools of trade.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years experience and advanced knowledge of manual and CNC machining processes
Mazatrol Programming a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physically capable of working 10 hours per day, 6 days a week for 12 months
Physically capable of working around moving industrial machinery - 100% of day
Physically capable of using hand tools 25% of day
Physically capable of occasionally lifting parts or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Physically capable of occasional stooping, crouching, and reaching.
Physically capable of walking and standing for entire shift.
Physically capable of receiving and conveying detailed instructions.
Physically capable of applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm and perceiving the texture of parts.
Physically capable to work around exposure to machinery noise, coolants and oils, and fumes from associated flammable aerosol products.
Physically capable to work around exposure from metal turnings, sharp metal edges, and moving machinery.
Physically capable to work in moderate to extreme heat or cold 25% of the day.
Physically capable to handle moderate stress to complete work due to time constraints.
Physically capable of stepping up/down material handling equipment (forklift truck) 25-60% of day.
