Overview

What We’re Looking For
CyberPoint is seeking an experienced Senior Training Coordinator with a strong technical background in cybersecurity and hands-on experience developing and delivering training for DoD and Intelligence Community customers. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge technical expertise with instructional design, ensuring that complex cyber sensor systems are effectively translated into impactful training programs. This position is 100% onsite in Hanover MD and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 depending on experience and qualifications

What You'll Do

  • Develop and deliver high-quality technical training for DoD, IC and other government stakeholders on cybersecurity tools, sensor platforms and deployable kits.
  • Design curriculum, course materials and hands-on exercises tailored to operational mission needs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers and mission operators to ensure training content remains accurate, relevant and aligned with evolving technologies.
  • Manage training logistics, scheduling and reporting through Learning Management Systems (LMS) and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Leverage virtualization and container technologies (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes) to build and manage training environments for realistic simulations and exercises.
  • Maintain familiarity with packet capture systems, endpoint telemetry tools and other sensor-based technologies to provide real-world, scenario-driven instruction.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Instructional Design or related field (or equivalent military/technical experience)
  • 12+ years of experience (or Master's with 10+ years) in technical training, cyber operations or systems engineering with a focus on cybersecurity tools or sensor platforms
  • Proven experience developing and delivering training to DoD, IC or government customers
  • Familiarity with cyber sensor systems, including packet capture, endpoint telemetry and deployable kits
  • Hands-on experience with LMS platforms, collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence) and virtualization/container technologies (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple training efforts simultaneously
  • Experience tailoring training to both introductory and advance technical audiences
