SUMMARY:  Maintains supplier and product specific data within the Bamboo Rose and Enable systems for all direct import products. Interfaces with 3rd party agency for proprietary brand packaging development and UPC creation and parts warranty.   


Location: Smyrna, GA (Near Battery Center)

Work Hours: Mon - Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm or 9:00am - 6:00pm


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of direct import Proprietary Brand product data, including marketing copy, UPC assignment, packaging labels and trademark markings
  • Interface with China Sourcing office for compliance renewals and tracking for customs and certifications
  • Maintain data integrity between Bamboo Rose and Enable to synchronize data during SKU life cycle management and vendor changes
  • Generate reports from Bamboo Rose and Enable related to new SKU set-up, MOQ updates and transactional content for direct import items
  • Act as vendor in catalog review process, noting keep/drop recommendations, copy review, catalog page proofing and approvals
  • Attend weekly import PO meeting and execute follow-up as required on data clean-up as needed and to gain visibility into the global sourcing supply chain and operations
  • Third party warranty service interaction on product questions, coordinate quarterly parts replenishment orders and parts inventory life cycle management  
  • process build out and improvement in handling requests from SPI
  • Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor of Arts Degree.  Minimum two years business and/or industry experience, preferably in the retail or commercial office products industry.  

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.   Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.  Requires extensive ability to read, comprehend, create and follow a schedule with close deadlines.  Ability to read internal reports in which the content is changing frequently.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.  Understanding of basic algebra.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  Ability to organize and prioritize.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Proficient with Excel.  Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word and Powerpoint) are a must.
