Requires heavy lifting, pushing or pulling objects over 50 pounds.
Shift
Monday – Friday 7:00 am-3:00 pm but will vary (including weekends) depending upon group rental and summer camp schedules. Occasional overtime.
Job Summary
The West Kentucky 4-H Camp, located in Dawson Springs, KY, is seeking a skilled and reliable Building Operator to support its mission of making a positive difference in the lives of Kentucky citizens through non-formal education for the entire family. This role is essential in ensuring the proper maintenance, repair, and safe operation of camp facilities and equipment. Serving approximately 3,000 summer campers annually—and hosting year-round programs and rental groups—the Building Operator plays a critical part in creating a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for all who visit the camp.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Requires skill/knowledge of carpentry, electricity, plumbing, operation of gas powered equipment, and grounds maintenance.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/Experience
Two years of related experience.

Drivers’ License preferred.
