Overview

Job Title: Business Development Administrator
Location: Tampa, FL



Responsibilities

This is the entry-level role on the Growth & Capture team. This position will work closely with a small team spread across Tampa, FL and McLean, VA. The Business Development Administrator will support the team by coordinating opportunity tracking, capture activities, proposal development, and compliance documentation. This role provides exposure to the full business development lifecycle, with career progression opportunities into capture management, proposal development, and/or pipeline operations.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Pipeline & Opportunity Management

  • Monitor and maintain the BD pipeline in Salesforce with real-time updates, ensuring accuracy of opportunity status, capture milestones, and assigned resources.
  • Conduct preliminary market research using GovWin, SAM.gov, etc., to identify, vet, and prioritize opportunities aligned with company capabilities and contract vehicles.
  • Track government procurement schedules, solicitations, amendments, and deadlines.

Capture & Proposal Support

  • Organize capture meeting schedules, prepare briefing packages, and coordinate internal/external communications.
  • Manage controlled unclassified information (CUI) in accordance with security and compliance protocols.
  • Support creation of compliance matrices, outlines, and formatting for RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
  • Maintain past performance library, resumes, technical write-ups, and pricing boilerplates.

Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Assist in the preparation of capability briefs and customer-facing presentations.
  • Coordinate logistics for customer visits, site tours, and industry conferences.
  • Track follow-up actions and ensure timely engagement with prospects and partners.


Qualifications



  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US citizenship is required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • At least one-year prior experience in an office environment.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree. A writing-intensive field such as English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Business, International Relations, or Political Science is preferred.
