Dynamis is seeking a Junior Intelligence Analyst to support a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agency, in Huntsville, AL, by assisting law enforcement (LE) entities and IA partners in their transnational investigations.

Responsibilities:

  • Use digital methods to conduct all source and open-source research and analysis on matters of national security to support ongoing investigations.
  • Assess foreign and domestic-based publicly available information to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that provide unique insights to address intelligence requirements.
  • Exploit data from specific sources and raw intelligence and compile them to validate intelligence collection requirements.
  • Identify trends, detect high-risk areas for weapons proliferation and prioritize enforcement approaches by applying research and advanced analytics.
  • Deliver accurate, complete, and timely data to users across the organization.
  • Work with Law Enforcement Sensitive (LES) information within the guidelines of statute, regulations, and policy governing the customer. As detailed in the Terms and Conditions all personnel will be required to obtain at least a Public Trust High adjudication. 

Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain ICE suitability (current ICE or DHS suitability is preferred).
  • Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited University in quantitative discipline such as computer science, data science, statistics, or mathematics or five (5) years of experience working in a related field.
  • Ability to obtain DOD Top Secret Clearance (current DOD TS Clearance is preferred).
  • Three (3) or more years supporting intelligence operations in the US Federal Government preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years experience in data collection, data conditioning, entity resolution and follow-up research. 
  • Three (3) or more years experience in in mining or scraping large amounts of data from open and dark web; perform ETL (extract, transform, load) processes on collected data. 
  • Three (3) or more years experience in social media exploitation. 
  • Three (3) or more years experience in data analysis including trend analysis, link analysis, and identification of hidden associations.
  • Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Applicants must have ability to work in fast-paced environment, apply analytical techniques and critical thinking skills, have excellent oral and written communications, and willingness to learn and navigate multiple system applications.
