Lead GMP Specialist, Cell and Gene Therapy
Leads the planning and execution of CGT manufacturing activities from project initiation through clinical product delivery. Uses analytical and manufacturing data to identify areas for continuous improvement. Provides hands-on training and mentorship to GMP staff.

Job Summary

Directs daily laboratory operations of a division, department, function, or program. Conducts and manages quality assurance and quality control and instructs staff on quality control and analytical procedures. Develops independent design projects and laboratory procedures and evaluates new products. Writes grant applications. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations.


Essential Functions
Lead GMP Specialist, Cell and Gene Therapy
Leads the planning and execution of CGT manufacturing activities from project initiation through clinical product delivery. Uses analytical and manufacturing data to identify areas for continuous improvement. Provides hands-on training and mentorship to GMP staff.

Physical Effort

Walking to and from locations within hospital and around campus

• Standing and sitting for long periods of time at the bench.

• Reading small print on tubes, cryovials, and labels.

• Lifting up to 30 pounds.

• Bending and lifting as required

• Able to use hands to preform experiments
