Sr. Specialist CSI Customer IT Integration - Military veterans preferred

Job Purpose:

Engage with customers and customer managers to understand the industry & customer supply chain requirements and in combination with my in-depth knowledge of the DHL IT capabilities to coordinate and combine the BU IT solution designs towards a differentiating competitive advantage for DHL.

Your Tasks:

Solution Development

• Generate thought leadership in IT solution and IT innovations                                     
• Align with the CSI IT Sector Leads on the sector specific requirements                                                           
• Undertake industry research (e.g. market trends) and client consultancy activity
• Understand customer needs, identify DHL's value proposition, define IT solution strategy                            
• Project management approach, identify required resources, manage project/opportunity, develop quality solution proposals, and secure BU's buy-in
• Support CSI Solution Engineering with the IT solutions for the Supply Chain Solution sets where applicable 

RFQ Response Management

• Engage in pre-RFQ activities led by CSI Tender Management                  
• Developing and maintaining IT Solution Material (templates)                  
• Develop the RFQ IT response and present the IT solution through optimal story lining in conjunction with the tender team                                                                                                                                              
• Coordinate on global IT solution projects and lead as necessary                                                     
• Present solution through optimal story lining in conjunction with the tender team                                           
• Align with CSI IT Sector Lead if the proposed solutions fit the overall Customer IT Strategy   

Implementation

• Perform clear and comprehensive transitions of designed IT solutions to implementation team
• Lead or support the IT solution work stream in implementations
• Resolve IT solution issues during implementations

Service Management & Continuous Improvement

• Identify IT solutions re-engineering opportunities to drive retention together with CSI Sectors & Service Management. Act as a sounding board and advisor to facilitate supply chain improvements on existing business
• Act as a functional expert to the post sales teams in account/program action plans and RFQ avoidance
• Act as first solution escalation point in the region for assigned customer portfolio  

Team Management

• Lead virtual teams across BU and CSI. Develop & drive actions to fix areas behind target

Stakeholder Management

• Develop & leverage relationships with BU IT Management to ensure the necessary resources are made available
• Ensure IT processes (RFQ and Project onboarding and management) are followed
• Share knowledge and best practices within DHL

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Business IT)
• Project management (e.g., PMP, CSM, PRINCE2), leadership training, or industry-specific certifications can be advantageous
• Experience more than 8-10 years
• Experience in one DHL Division or more 
• Deep understanding of at least one divisional integration capabilities
• Customer communication skills (senior level)
