Transport Controller/FLM (nights) - Military veterans preferred

Pay Rate: £34,248.94 + 10% night shift allowance

Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off – 6pm-6am

We're now looking for a Transport Controller/FLM to oversee and optimise our transportation operations, ensuring efficient logistics management, compliance with safety regulations, and effective coordination among teams to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction

?A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Review driver resource to match customer daily distribution plan
• Manage driver holiday allocation
• Track team and individual performance of your employees (Microlise, Tacho infringements , Contextual Speeding, Accidents)
• Review individual performance during monthly one to one
• Manage accident investigation and retraining/formal sanctions if required

?THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Minimum of 1 year experience in team management
• Excellent organisational skills
• Knowledge of working time legislation – preferred
• Background in transport operations - preferred
