As part of the Kito Crosby team, you will be supporting channel partners and end users around the world using Kito Crosby products in mission critical applications ranging from development of renewable power, space exploration, national defense, manufacturing, and infrastructure development.

The Machine Operator sets up and operates standard CNC machine tools in a highly efficient manner. Understands blueprints and written specifications. Skillfully uses all machinist’s hand tools and measuring instruments. Possesses knowledge of shop mathematics. Familiar with the various metals, speeds, and feeds to be used in machining. Capable of shaping metal bars, forgings, and castings to precise dimensions and finishes. Has a minimum of rejected parts with maximum productivity. Must be able to operate one or more machines as required to meet production and quality standards with maximum productivity.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential)

  1. Accurately matches product to incoming paperwork and verifies for computer accuracy*
  2. Prepares orders for shipment (boxing/skids) ensuring product will not be damaged during transportation*
  3. Notifies manager of discrepancies with customer orders and/or orders that cannot/ will not ship*
  4. Uses forklift and/or load product on vehicles for shipment*
  5. Weighs all outgoing materials and determines the most economical method to ship*
  6. Prepare and maintain records of shipments and receipts as required to provide tracking and traceability*
  7. Ability to work overtime as required*
  8. Keep work area orderly, clean, and safe*
  9. Must exhibit interpersonal skills sufficient to perform as an active team member*
  10. Perform other duties as assigned and/or requested by company management*
  11. Conduct all interaction with customer, representatives, co-workers, and supervisors in a focused, positive, courteous, and respectful manner*

Job Specifications (Work Experience, Skills, Abilities, etc.)

Minimum 2 years of Shipping and Manufacturing experience preferred.

Forklift and pallet jack experience

Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Sit and stand frequently
