POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Supervisor will oversee and manage production shift employees and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards. The Production Supervisor ensures strict adherence to design specifications, quality production standards (specifically ISO 9001 compliance) and customer requirements during the production process.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Direct, train, and motivate production staff to meet performance, quality, and safety targets.
  • Plan and assign daily tasks, monitor production processes, and ensure schedules are met.
  • Enforce quality standards (including ISO 9001 or company-specific requirements) and take corrective actions when issues arise.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Track employee performance, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations.
  • Identify root causes of production issues, implement solutions, and escalate problems when needed.
  • Use materials, equipment, and labor efficiently to control costs and minimize waste.
  • Ensure timely, clear communication between team members, other supervisors, and management.
  • Support and participate in initiatives to improve processes, efficiency, and quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, timekeeping, and other operational data.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with at least three years of relevant manufacturing experience; precision CNC machining background strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards.
  • Proven supervisory and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for reporting and documentation.
  • U.S. citizenship required to meet ITAR compliance.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation, including a nationwide criminal record check.

This position may require travel up to 5% of the time
