Oracle EPM Program Leader



The Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Program Leader will provide advanced support, administration and configuration for the University’s Oracle EPM cloud applications. This role requires strong business analysis skills, cross-functional collaboration, and project coordination to deliver effective financial planning and reporting solutions.

In addition to daily operations, the role will apply strategic thinking to assess infrastructure impact, support system roadmap planning, conduct needs assessments and contribute to enterprise IT initiatives. This position exercises independent judgment in managing complex financial system workflows that align with University-wide objectives. This role will collaborate with stakeholders in the Office of the CFO and other functional areas to understand strategic and operational goals, assess existing business processes, and translate requirements into improved, efficient solutions.

Job Summary

Manages or performs work across multiple areas of the University’s Information Technology (IT) platform and infrastructure. Conducts cost/benefit analyses, needs assessments and infrastructure impact assessments, develops project plans, and directs operations of outgoing services. Implements short- and long-term policies.


Essential Functions

Adept in business analysis, process improvement, project coordination & user experience design.

-Serve as a business analyst to partner with stakeholders & dept leaders to understand strategic goals, document current processes, identify unmet needs & translate them into improved business workflows & system requirements.

-Configure, test & maintain Oracle EPM Cloud applications & Assoc integrations to support financial planning, forecasting & reporting.

-Collaborate with functional & technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

-Design & troubleshoot calculation scripts, business rules, Smart View reports, dashboards, reports, web forms, etc.

-Oversee user provisioning, access controls & security roles in Oracle EPM platform

-Lead & support functional, usability & quality assurance testing for new features/enhancements.

-Maintain accurate & up-to-date documentation of configs, processes & change history.

-Develop & manage detailed project plans for EPM-related initiatives, including timelines, scope, milestones & risk assessments.

-Ensure seamless integration of EPM with other enterprise platforms (Oracle ERP, data warehouse), identify opportunities to streamline & automate

-Define & track success metrics. Report on performance indicators t0 measure impact & adoption of EPM solutions.


Physical Effort

Generally sedentary desk work with computer-keyboard-video phone other than traveling to other buildings on campus for meetings/events on occasion. Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
