Exec Dir Marketing - Military veterans preferred

The Executive Director, HCP Marketing will lead the development and execution of healthcare professional (HCP) marketing strategies and oversee execution for Arcutis' dermatology portfolio of indications, encompassing all launched ZORYVE products and supporting potential new launches. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in pharmaceutical marketing, particularly in dermatology or specialty therapeutics, to drive HCP engagement, brand growth, and market differentiation. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Executive Director will oversee a team, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure all initiatives align with regulatory compliance and business objectives to maximize impact on HCPs such as dermatologists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HCP marketing strategies to maximize the full ZORYVE portfolio (plaque psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis) including personal and non-personal promotion across channels.
• Lead lifecycle planning and tactical execution for HCP-focused campaigns, ensuring strong differentiation, messaging alignment, and integration of market insights to address unmet needs in dermatology and continue to grow our leadership position in the branded topical market.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, medical affairs, market access, regulatory, and commercial operations to optimize HCP engagement and support field teams with resources that enhance prescribing behaviors and patient outcomes.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, HCP feedback, and performance metrics to refine strategies, forecast demand, and identify high impact opportunities for portfolio expansion and depth
• Oversee the creation and validation of HCP creative concepts, messaging architectures, and promotional assets, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, PhRMA guidelines, and company policies
• Manage external agencies, vendors, and budgets for HCP marketing initiatives, including digital marketing, KOL (Key Opinion Leader) development, and educational programs.
• Lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering professional development and a collaborative culture while contributing to overall brand vision and commercial success.
• Create and support elevated messaging and branding, including market preparation, HCP segmentation, and targeted promotional planning to accelerate adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical or biotech marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on HCP marketing for specialty or immunology; dermatology experience highly preferred.
• Proven track record in developing and executing HCP strategies for launched products and new indications, including digital and omnichannel tactics.
• Strong understanding of the dermatology market, HCP behaviors, and regulatory environment in the U.S. pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for congresses, field visits, and team meetings.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in immunology, inflammation, or topical therapeutics marketing.
• Familiarity with launch planning for new indications or formulations in competitive markets.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools and market research methodologies to inform strategy.
• Demonstrated success in managing multi-product portfolios and cross-functional collaborations.
