Job Summary
The Human Development Institute (HDI) at the University of Kentucky is Kentucky’s Center on Disability.

HDI is seeking to fill a Disability Program Specialist II/SCL position. This position is through a contract within Kentucky DBHDID Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DDID) and will work with the Supports for Community Living (SCL) waiver program.

This Disability Program Specialist II/SCL position will work as a Technical Assistant Quality Administrator (TAQA). The position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Provide on-site technical assistance to Supports for Community Living (SCL) agencies to improve the quality of services provided to waiver participants
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned providers

  • Assist with certification reviews and utilization/billing reviews when needed

  • Monitor Plan of Correction implementation

  • Conduct follow-up for complaints

  • Complete investigations as assigned

  • Work collaboratively within a team structure
  • Complete required documentation

Travel throughout Louisville, KY and surrounding counties is required.
