Overview

Eagleview, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Director of Account Management - Commercial in the Account Management Department.

The Director of Account Management – Commercial is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the performance and development of the Commercial Account Management team. This individual will drive client satisfaction, revenue retention, and account growth across a diverse portfolio of commercial customers, including Insurance, Construction, Utilities, Solar, and others. Reporting to senior leadership, the Director will foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and customer-centricity—ensuring the team consistently delivers measurable value and long-term client success.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team of Commercial Account Managers and Senior Account Managers.
  • Set clear performance expectations and deliver consistent coaching, mentorship, and career development.
  • Cultivate a customer-obsessed mindset and a collaborative, high-accountability team culture.
  • Establish and maintain best practices, playbooks, and scalable success models.

Client Relationship Strategy

  • Act as executive sponsor and escalation point for strategic commercial accounts.
  • Guide the team in developing strong, multi-threaded client relationships and deep understanding of client business drivers.
  • Oversee execution of Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs), ensuring alignment with customer objectives and measurable outcomes.

Revenue Retention & Growth

  • Own and drive Gross Revenue Retention (GRR), Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and other retention KPIs across the team.
  • Provide strategic direction on account planning, renewal readiness, and opportunity identification (upsell/cross-sell).
  • Partner closely with Sales, Onboarding, Adoption, Support, Product, Marketing, and Finance to co-develop expansion and renewal strategies that maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Ensure proactive and timely renewal conversations that mitigate risk and solidify long-term partnerships.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Champion alignment across Onboarding, Support, Product, and Marketing to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Surface and communicate customer insights that inform product roadmap and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional accountability for resolving issues and advancing customer outcomes.

Operational Excellence & Performance Management

  • Define and monitor key success metrics including GRR, SBR completion, opportunity pipeline, advocacy development, and engagement health.
  • Leverage systems (Salesforce, Gainsight, etc.) to drive transparency, operational efficiency, and data-informed decisions.
  • Enforce high standards for CRM hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and process consistency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA a plus).
  • 7+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or related customer-facing roles.
  • 2+ years of people management experience, ideally within mid-market or enterprise segments.
  • Proven track record of retaining and expanding commercial client relationships at scale.
  • Deep familiarity with CRM and CS platforms (Salesforce, Gainsight, HubSpot, or equivalents).

Preferred

  • Leadership experience within a SaaS or technology-enabled services company.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Expertise in navigating complex procurement cycles and driving strategic account growth.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with cross-functional exposure.

The compensation offered to the successful candidate will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s work experience, education and licenses, work-related training, key skills, the core duties of the role and its associated responsibilities, additional benefits offered, and the location where the work will be performed. All Fulltime (30+ hours) employees are eligible for PTO, Sick, and Parental Leave; Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance; 401(k) Plan; Health Savings Account; Life Insurance; Employee Assistance Program; Pet Insurance. This is a full-time, remote opportunity with a salary range of $105,000-$150,000, and a commission target in the $45,000-$65,000 range.
