As part of the Lutron Sales Leadership Development Program, you will embark on a structured, multi-phase rotational program designed to cultivate the next generation of high-impact sales leaders. Focused on building deep product knowledge, customer relationship skills, and strategic business acumen, the program offers early-career professionals the opportunity to accelerate their growth within a global technology company at the forefront of smart lighting, shading, and controls solutions. 

The SLDP follows a dynamic structure, typically spanning 6-8 months in the Lutron sales organization, where participants rotate through key areas of the business to prepare them for their first field sales position. 

 



Responsibilities

The program consists of:

  • Technical product training with product managers and engineering
  • Real-time interactions with customers through tech support and customer service rotations
  • Industry insights with marketing and business development leaders
  • Hands-on experience with inside sales and sales support in-field sales rotations with regional sales teams in our sales channels
  • Final placement preparation through professional development

Qualifications



  • You have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.80; a technical degree or interest is preferred
  • You must be willing to relocate and travel up to 50% once assigned to a territory
  • You have 0-3 years of professional working experience
