Position: Postdoctoral Research Associate

Description:

The Princeton Materials Institute (PMI) invites applicants for postdoctoral or more senior research positions. Individuals with evidence of experience in scholarly research and a strong commitment to excellence in education are encouraged to apply. A PhD in Materials Science, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or Bio Engineering or related area is required. We are interested in candidates who have an interest in: *Advanced Manufacturing and Integration of Scalable Structures*Soft and Living Materials *Natural and Engineered Materials for Energy, Environment and Sustainability*Optical Materials and Light Matter Interactions*Quantum Materials Science The term of appointment is based on rank. Positions at the postdoctoral rank are for one year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding; those hired at more senior ranks may have multi-year appointments. Expected Salary Range: PDRA: $65,000 - $68,000 , ARS: $75,000 - $86,000


The University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, work experience, education/training, key skills, market, collective bargaining agreements as applicable, and organizational considerations when extending an offer. The posted salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate for a full-time position; salaries for part-time positions are pro-rated accordingly.
