Position Summary:

The Urgent Care Clinic Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of GGC Urgent Care, ensuring compassionate and professional care for patients and fostering a positive, efficient work environment. This role collaborates closely with the Medical Director, Lead APRNs, and Business Director to maintain high standards of patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The Clinic Team Leader provides direct support to clinic staff, facilitates workflow improvements, and resolves operational issues to optimize clinic performance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight:
  • Coordinate daily clinic operations, ensuring adequate staffing, efficient workflows, and facility readiness.
  • Oversee inventory tracking, replenishment, and resource allocation to maintain seamless clinic functionality.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving operational issues and ensuring effective communication with leadership.
  • Patient and Employee Experience:
    • Serve as a key liaison for addressing patient concerns and ensuring prompt resolution to enhance satisfaction.
    • Promote a positive and welcoming environment for both patients and staff, reinforcing the clinic’s mission and values.
    • Facilitate clinical huddles to ensure alignment and clear communication among team members.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols across all operations.
    • Monitor clinic performance metric such as patient flow, satisfaction scores, and staff productivity, identifying opportunities for improvement.
    • Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and clinic efficiency.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Proactively identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement solutions in collaboration with leadership.
    • Support projects and initiatives aimed at improving patient care processes and overall clinic performance.
  • Collaboration with Leadership:
    • Maintain regular communication with the Medical Director, Lead APRNs, and Business Director to align on strategic goals and address clinic needs.
    • Provide input on clinic policies, protocols, and best practices to enhance care delivery and operational efficiency.
    • Participate in leadership meetings and contribute actionable feedback to improve clinic performance.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with an active and unrestricted license or certification in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to effectively manage and support clinical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of urgent care protocols, healthcare regulations, and patient safety standards.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
